Herakut Street Art; Portsmouth, NH
The Portsmouth Museum of Art is currently exhibiting six international artists, and evidence of their presence is noticeable in the street art scattered across downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Below is some of the work of the German duo, Herakut. Their work is heavily influenced by poetry, and the two have the unusual style of working separately on the same paintings; they are often working on multiple pieces at the same time, continually taking breaks from a given work to allow the other take over — a process that allows each to embrace the work done previously, and inspiring the direction the art takes as it works towards its final state.
