Day 135.
Caught this as the sun was setting over a field in such as way that it appears the tree branches are holding up the sun.
A Puppy’s First Sunrise
So, I bring the puppy to the beach for his first sunrise. A true romantic, he immediately turns away from the rising sun, choosing instead to spend his time repeatedly drinking salt water, throwing it up, drinking more salt water, and throwing it up again, until the moment the sun is just about to break the horizon–at which time he decides he’s had enough, picking up the nearest seashell and then prancing proudly towards the car.
A car which most certainly was not mine.
Fortunately, we got to enjoy the sunrise alone, as his antics scared away all who approached; I guess an idyllic sunrise for most does not include the constant resonance of regurgitation and dry heaving.
